Yaoundé, 12th May 2010 – Cameroon National Communication Council
Today, it was the official launch of the audiovisual media monitoring system at NCC Cameroun, in presence of the members of the Council.
The system has been entirely assembled, pre-cabled and tested at Periactes’ lab in Brussels.
Then Periactes did the on-site installation and training.
Continuous recording of 10 TV channels and 20 radio channels is possible thanks to the big storage capacity provided. Capture can also be scheduled only on repeated time slots or for onetime events.

Channels reception is done by analog terrestrial as well as digital satellite, depending on the type of services provided by the broadcasters.
The recorded programs are accessible using several consultation workstations. When a program needs to be archived, the user chose either to export it to a file or to burn it on CDs/DVDs.
This project has been realized with the support of our partner in Cameroon: MEDIAVISION.
